Florian Virts: Salah has been my greatest support

The talented German midfielder Florian Virts, who plays for England's Liverpool football club, openly spoke about how difficult his adaptation process to the team was and who helped him along the way. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The player, who joined last summer from Bayer for 125 million euros, was under serious psychological pressure during the initial months. Due to the high pace and speed of the English Premier League and the high demands of the fans, the young star faced a lot of criticism and was unable to show his best abilities on the field for a long time.
In an interview with Anfield Sector, Virts specifically emphasized the irreplaceable role of the team leader and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. Salah, drawing from his rich experience, tried to provide moral support to his young colleague.
The Egyptian footballer reminded that he himself came to Liverpool at that time as a young and expensive transfer and gave Virts valuable advice on overcoming the pressure. According to him, Salah helped him feel comfortable both on the field and in the dressing room by constantly communicating.
Currently, the 22-year-old player is gradually regaining his former form. This season, Virts has played 36 matches in all competitions for Liverpool, scoring a total of six goals and providing eight assists.
Although the difficulties at the beginning of the season negatively affected his initial performance, thanks to the sincere help of experienced teammates, he is now confidently taking steps towards securing a solid place in the team's main lineup. This story once again proved how overcoming difficulties is possible for a young talent and how important team spirit is.
