Uzbekistan Achieves a Major Victory in Taekwondo in Minsk

The international tournament Cup of the strongest sportsmen in taekwondo held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, ended with great success. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this prestigious competition, members of the Uzbekistan youth national team defended the honor of their homeland at the highest level and achieved a great victory. Our athletes participated in special training camps organized in Belarus before the tournament, which helped them strengthen their preparation and achieve these results.
The matches were very intense and uncompromising. As a result, representatives of our national team won a total of sixteen medals.
Six of them were gold, five silver, and another five bronze medals. Among those who reached the highest podium and earned the championship title were Shohjahon Kholmurodov, Yosinbek Odilov, Asadbek Samandarov, Omadbek Otabekov, as well as girls Samira Hayitova and Sitora Asrorova.
They left no chance to their opponents in their weight categories and secured the victory. The silver medals went to Farhod Qosimov, Shermuhammad Qahhorov, Azizbek Murodov, Zuhra Ismoilboyeva, and Farangis Mahkamboyeva.
The bronze medals were awarded to Ayubkhon Nabiyev, Akhadjon Mukhtorov, Alisher Pak, Rushanakhan Ravshanova, and Viktoriya Denisenko. These latest results once again proved that the potential of young Uzbek taekwondo athletes on the international stage is very high and shows the future of Uzbek taekwondo.
