Despite the cold weather with snowfall and difficult field conditions, a truly dramatic scene was observed in this match. Pakhtakor, considered one of the capital's most successful teams, hosted Navbahor at home, but the result ended unexpectedly.
As a result of the match, the Falcons secured a confident victory in the capital for the first time in 31 years, winning the game with a score of two goals to nil. In the first half, both teams played cautiously.
Controlling the ball and building quick attacks on the snowy field was not an easy task. Pakhtakor tried to maintain the pace of the game traditionally, while Navbahor waited for scoring opportunities through disciplined defense and quick transitions.
After the break, the situation changed dramatically and the Falcons started the game. In the 47th minute, Katulondi Kati opened the score with his precise and thoughtful strike.
This goal gave confidence to the Navbahor players, while the Lions went on the attack and were forced to take risks. The penalty in the 65th minute also had a significant impact on the outcome of the contest.
Ruslanbek Jiyanov calmly and accurately converted the penalty for his team, making the score two to nil. From that moment, Navbahor controlled the game and managed to maintain the result until the end.
