According to the results of the international Futures Cup tournament among young athletes held in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, the Uzbekistan national team achieved a remarkable victory. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Our youth, who participated in this prestigious competition, won four gold, five silver, and two bronze medals, securing first place in the overall team standings. This success earned them the title of the best team at the end of the tournament.

Our athletes fully demonstrated their skills and fighting spirit even in tough battles. The gold medal winners include Sardorbek Bahromkhodjayev in the minus eighty-five kilogram weight category, Asadbek Sultonboyev in the minus ninety kilogram category, Islam Salikhov in the plus ninety kilogram category, and Rushanabonu Isoyeva in the minus sixty kilogram category.

Silver medals were awarded to Sukhrob Rahmatullaev, Nazokat Mardonova, Sevara Mamatova, Samira Turgunova, and Asaloy Bakhtiyorova. Additionally, Abdugani Yorqinjonov and Nilufarkhon Abduhoshimova delighted their nation with bronze medals.

The work of the coaching team was invaluable in achieving these accomplishments. Julio Li Echavarria, Sirojiddin Nayimov, Bakhtiyor Toraboyev, Elnur Abduraimov, Temur Akhbayev, Eldor Kholmatov, Mirkhon Sodiqov, and Shahobbek Jorayev supported the athletes in every way on the path to victory.

Team manager Mirzohid Numonov and referee Maruf Urdushev also performed their duties fairly and responsibly. While Uzbekistan took first place in the overall team standings, Kazakhstan came second, and the athletes from the USA took third place.

According to experts, this result indicates that our country's boxing is receiving great attention from the younger generation and that there is potential for even greater achievements in the future. Source: One.uz
