Champions League referee severely criticized by experts

The Archivo VAR channel, which analyzes the activities of football referees on social networks, has harshly criticized the referee of the Champions League match between Bayern and Real Madrid. Zamin.uz reported this.
The work of Slovenian referee Slavko Vinčić, who officiated this match, was rated very poorly by experts. Analysts gave the referee's performance only one point out of ten and described his decisions as disastrous.
According to the source, this match was one of Vinčić's most unsuccessful games in recent years. Experts accuse the referee of ignoring important episodes and losing control of the pitch.
In particular, it was noted that the Slovenian referee made two serious mistakes, which directly led to two goals. The Archivo VAR analysis stated that Vinčić has been unable to handle important matches for some time and missed all key situations.
Additionally, the decision regarding Eduardo Camavinga caused great debate. The referee showed the player a second yellow card and sent him off for holding the ball for several seconds.
According to analysts, such an action does not meet Champions League standards, and usually, players do not leave the pitch for such situations. Furthermore, the referee was criticized for awarding fouls for very minor collisions while failing to see clear violations.
It is said that this situation had a negative impact on the overall course of the game. As a reminder, in the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, Bayern defeated Real Madrid 6-4 on aggregate and advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.
