Mohidil Oktamjonova became a world champion in taekwondo

The final day of the World Youth Taekwondo Championships took place at the Yakkakurash sports complex in the Olympic Village area. Zamin.uz reported this.
Representatives of Uzbekistan competed worthily during the most exciting stages of the competition. Mohidil O'ktamjonova, competing in the 63 kg weight category for girls, managed to reach the decisive stage of the tournament.
In the final match, she faced Sofia Frassica, a representative of the Italian national team. In a very intense and uncompromising battle on the tatami, our compatriot gained the upper hand over her opponent.
As a result, Mohidil O'ktamjonova emerged victorious, adding another gold medal to the world championship tally. With this achievement, the Uzbekistan national team concluded the competition on a high note and successfully.
According to the final results, our athletes won a total of six medals: two gold, two silver, and two bronze.
These achievements of young athletes are proof that even greater victories await them in the future. The will and determination shown on the tatami once again confirmed the high potential of our sports team.
