Javohir Sindarov's next goal is to fight for the world championship

Roman Vidonyak, the coach of Javohir Sindarov, provided detailed information about his pupil's future plans and preparation process following the victory in the Candidates Tournament. Zamin.uz reported on this.
He noted that while the achieved result is a great achievement, it is only the beginning of a long journey. The coach stated that strategic goals consisting of four stages had been set for the team, and so far, the second one has been successfully completed.
The first part of the plan was to qualify for the Candidates Tournament, and the second was to win this competition. Now, the main focus will be on the third stage: fighting for the world championship.
According to Roman Vidonyak, the most difficult task awaits in the fourth stage. This stage involves raising the chess player's rating to the 2800 level and achieving consistent dominance in elite tournaments.
The coach recalled that legendary chess players such as Garry Kasparov and Magnus Carlsen achieved such results in their time. It was stated that at least two years of serious work are necessary to reach this high peak.
The coach emphasized that Sindarov is still in the process of forming and that experienced champions were already ready at this age. The preparation work is organized very systematically.
Within the last year, nine training camps were held mainly in the city of Munich, each lasting ten to fifteen days. The most important aspect of the training is that priority was given to practical work on a traditional chessboard rather than computer analysis.
Nearly forty thousand specially designed exercises were performed to develop his pupil's thinking ability. As Roman Vidonyak noted in an interview with UzChess, the main goal is to increase the chess player's strategic skills and speed of thinking.
This will serve as a solid foundation for achieving even higher results on the world chess arena in the future.
