Kasparov evaluates Sindarov's abilities; Gukesh's advantage is mentioned

In the world of chess, preparations are wrapping up for the most important event of the year — the match for the world championship title, to be held in Geneva. One.uz reports on this.
Uzbek Grandmaster Javohir Sindarov will face the reigning world champion Gukesh Dommaraju in a battle of strength. Although legendary champion Garry Kasparov acknowledged Sindarov’s bright and attacking style in his analysis, he rated Gukesh’s chances slightly higher due to the factor of experience in major tournaments.
Kasparov compared the Indian chess player to a tennis player who reliably plays from the back of the court, stating that he gives him slightly more opportunity. At the same time, he noted that if Sindarov takes the lead in the score in the initial games, the situation could shift in favor of the Uzbek chess player.
Match schedule and terms The competition will officially open on November 22, with the first classical game starting on November 24. A total of 14 classical games will be played.
If the result is tied at 7:7, the winner will be determined in the rapid tiebreaks held on December 12. This encounter is expected to be one of the youngest and most exciting championship battles in chess history.
For Javohir Sindarov, this is not only a personal career milestone but also an opportunity to open a new historical chapter for Uzbek chess. Source: One.uz
