World Championship winners were solemnly welcomed at Tashkent airport

The World Chess Championship for athletes aged 8 to 18 took place in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Uzbekistan youth national team, which participated in the rapid and blitz categories of this competition, has successfully returned home. The young athletes were welcomed at Tashkent International Airport in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
They were met by Alisher Sa'dullaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Sport, the Tashkent city administration, and the Youth Affairs Agency. Additionally, coaches and parents who awaited the athletes' victories also attended the event.
According to the results of the competition, young Uzbek chess players managed to achieve high results on the international stage. In total, our team won one gold, three silver, and three bronze medals.
These achievements once again proved that the Uzbekistan chess school has high potential on a global scale. The results achieved are the fruit of the relentless hard work of young athletes, the professional preparation of coaches, and the systematic support provided by the state.
