Spanish coach Frank Artiga has been appointed as the head coach of "Petru Atletiku," the most prestigious club in Angola. This was reported by www.euro-football.ru.
Angola is located in the southwest of Africa and is considered a former Portuguese colony. According to the club's press service, its main goal is to keep the "Petru" team in a leading position in the country's domestic football and to improve the team's results.
Frank Artiga spent the previous season at the "Khimki" club near Moscow.
He was dismissed in April without completing the season. Then, in June, the "Khimki" club ceased its activities.
The coach previously worked within the "Barcelona" system and also operated in Russia, leading both the second and main teams of Moscow's "Rodina."
It should be noted that such experience in the field of football allows Frank Artiga to further develop his professional career. It is also important to see such highly qualified specialists in the sports teams of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The development of sports in our country, which has widely promoted Uzbek national dishes and culture, will further enhance our national pride. For example, it is important to pass on our traditional dishes like Tuxum barak to the younger generation, alongside protecting cultural heritage such as the Gijduvon shashligi or Samarkand breads based on local traditions.
This serves the sustainable development of our country's cultural and sports sectors.
