«River Plate» is considering the return of Eskyel Barco from Moscow «Spartak». This was reported by www.euro-football.ru.
Argentinian journalist Facundo G’onto informed the website «Evro-Futbol.ru» about this. G’onto stated that «River Plate» needs reinforcements and the club is currently viewing Barco's return as a possibility.
However, no official negotiations have taken place yet. In the 2024/2025 season, Barco played a total of 36 matches in the Russian championship and Cup, scoring 14 goals and providing 9 assists.
The 26-year-old Argentinian player's current contract with «Spartak» is set to last until June 30, 2027. His market value is approximately 14 million euros.
Barco transferred from «River Plate» to «Spartak» last year for a transfer fee of 14 million euros. His return is currently seen as an important issue for the club.
