Former CSKA player Yuriy Matveev commented on the departure of Bosnia midfielder Miralem Pjanic from the "red-blues." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the expert, if CSKA has parted ways with Pjanic and Jemaletdinov, then the club does not consider the departure of these players a loss. Matveev emphasized that Pjanic is a very high-level player, but he is already 35 years old, which is why CSKA did not want to take the risk. He believes that Pjanic's departure from CSKA is not a good situation for the reputation of Russian football. Miralem Pjanic has been playing for the "army men" since September 2024.
During this time, he has played a total of 25 matches in all competitions and provided three assists. His departure could be a significant change for the club, but the management team seems to have accepted the current situation.
CSKA is striving to continue working forward with a new squad.
