Chinese entrepreneur Jiang Xue set a water motorcycle record

Chinese entrepreneur and founder of the ZXMOTO motorcycle company, Zhang Xue, set a new Guinness World Record by traveling 40.74 kilometers on a specially modified motorcycle across river water. One.uz reports.
The event took place on October 25 in the Xinshui River, located in the Mayan-Miao Autonomous District of Huaihua City, Hunan Province, China. Zhang Xue rode an MX450 motorcycle continuously along the open water body, updating the previous record of 31.8 kilometers and establishing a new historic result.
Motorcycle technical preparation The motorcycle was specially re-equipped to move on water. Amphibious components that allow sliding movement on water were installed, the fuel tank was enlarged, and the waterproof protection system was improved.
Special treads on the motorcycle's rear wheel pushed water backward, assisting forward movement. All technical modifications were aimed at ensuring stability and safety in water conditions.
Record verification process Guinness World Records officials participated in the record-setting process. The distance was verified through GPS data, time records, and video recordings, and the result was officially confirmed.
This approach was a necessary condition for the objectivity and reliability of the result. The result of 17 years of pursuit Zhang Xue's attempts to ride a motorcycle on water began in 2009.
At that time, he tried several times but could only cover a maximum distance of 20 meters. After 17 years, he achieved his goal, demonstrating that persistent effort yields results.
According to Zhang Xue, the main goal this time was not to increase speed, but to cover the entire distance stably and safely. His team worked for several months to prepare and test the motorcycle.
