Franco Kamocci, who was previously an advisor to the owner of the "Spartak" club, expressed his thoughts about the Moscow club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Kamocci, if Leonid Fedun had continued to manage the club, the "red-white" team would have had a much higher chance of winning trophies. He emphasized that Leonid Arnoldovich had a genuine passion and endless love for football.
This would have made it easier to achieve success, considering the club's potential. It is known that Leonid Fedun left the management of "Spartak" in August 2022 and handed over his shares to the "Lukoil" company. Until that time, the club had finished the last season of the Russian championship in fourth place.
The last time the "red-white" team won the Russian Premier League was in the 2016/2017 season, when the head coach was Massimo Carrera. In Kamocci's opinion, during Fedun's management, "Spartak" had a true spirit and stability. With his love for football and generosity towards the team, the club was able to achieve many successes.
Thus, with Fedun's departure, certain changes occurred in the club, which affected the team's results. For "Spartak" to reach higher heights in the future, stability in management and strong leadership are crucial.
