Andrey Chervichenko, the former president of Moscow "Spartak," commented on the departure of midfielder Miralem Pyanich from CSKA. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He noted that the contract between the club and the Bosnian player was not extended as it expires in June 2025. According to Chervichenko, Pyanich's departure does not cause him any concern.
On the contrary, he finds the development of Kislqak, Abdulkadirov, and Glebov more important and interesting than Pyanich. Miralem's arrival and departure passed like the wind, he said in an interview with the "Championat" publication.
The former president also emphasized that football is not about the name but about the activity on the field. He stated that the best years of the 35-year-old Bosnian player are behind him.
In the Russian Premier League and Cup competitions, he provided three assists in 25 matches but did not score any goals. Thus, the team is focusing on future players and aims to rejuvenate the squad.
Pyanich's departure is not seen as a significant loss for the club. New players expected to fill his position are anticipated to bring new spirit and strength to the team.
