The former footballer shared his thoughts on this situation with journalists. He emphasized that he is not a politician and stated that he considers himself Russian and will always support his country.
Therefore, he made it clear that he does not care at all about where he has been listed. Vladimir Bystrov ended his professional football career in 2018. During his career, he played for teams such as Zenit St. Petersburg, Spartak Moscow, Anzhi Makhachkala, Krasnodar, and Tosno.
He played 47 matches for the Russian national team and scored four goals. According to him, he has remained loyal to his homeland as a footballer and stays away from political issues.
