Former defender of the Spartak team in Moscow, Dmitriy Kombarov, may potentially become the head coach of the Chayka team in the city of Peschanokopsk. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Journalist Sergey Il’yov announced this on his personal Telegram channel. Earlier, there were reports that due to financial difficulties, the Chayka team might not participate in the Melbet First League competitions. However, on June 27, the club owner Andrey Chayka informed the players during a meeting that the club would continue to play in the second-tier league of Russian football. Last season, the Chayka team finished in 13th place in the First League competitions.
This decision is expected to have a positive impact on the team's future activities and prepare the players for stronger competition. Kombarov's transition to coaching may also refresh the team's tactics and style of play.
Currently, the Chayka club is utilizing all possibilities to maintain its stability and achieve high results.
