Former USSR and Spartak goalkeeper Anzor Kavazashvili recommended inviting Oleg Romantsev, Aleksandr Mostovoy, Dmitriy Alenichev, and Igor Shalimov to the coaching staff of the Russian national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated this in an interview with the online publication "Euro-Football.Ru." According to Kavazashvili, currently, Valeriy Karpin is the head coach of the Russian national team, and there are also foreigners working in the staff. He emphasized that in such a situation, there is a lack of local, experienced coaches.
