Football expert Sergey Balakhnin shared his thoughts on the best players and coach of the past season in an exclusive interview with the "Yevro-Futbol.uz" network publication. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the results of the Russian Premier League awards, the RPL season has concluded. Cordoba was chosen as the best player.
The expert fully agrees with this choice and considers Cordoba to be the undeniable leader of the team. He was not only selected because "Krasnodar" became the champion, but he also scored many goals and demonstrated effective play. Agkatsev was chosen as the best goalkeeper, but the expert does not agree with this choice.
In his opinion, Agkatsev had serious mistakes and shortcomings. He names Akinfeev as the best goalkeeper, as he took the Russian Cup on his shoulders and was deserving of the award.
This opinion may also influence young players. Moyzes was mentioned as the best defender. The expert agrees with this opinion, stating that he had a strong season and was deemed worthy of this title.
However, other defenders can also be highlighted. Spertsyan was named the best midfielder. The specialist emphasizes that he has dispelled all doubts with his performance and made a significant contribution to the team.
If he leaves for abroad, "Krasnodar" will face a serious loss. Batrakov was chosen as the best young player. The expert partially supports this choice but notes that Kislyak's performance has also significantly improved in the last season.
His development may be somewhat related to Pyanich and the overall play of the team. Kislyak secured a place in the starting lineup with his regular performances and showed good play. In the next season, their development is considered a complex issue, as the second season often proves to be complicated and uncertain, even if the coach has confidence. Musayev was chosen as the best coach.
The expert views this choice with skepticism. He considers Musayev skilled in motivating the team, but did not see tactical and revolutionary changes.
According to him, Nikolich's tactics at CSKA were much more effective. At "Krasnodar," the players were in their comfort zone, but there were no significant tactical changes.
For this reason, he highlights Nikolich among the coaches. No one from "Zenit" won the nomination. This is explained by the team's lower performance compared to previous seasons.
The best players have left the club, and the new players have not been able to lead the team. Interview author: Elena Grigorievskaya
