The goalkeeper coach of Slovenia's "Jadran Dekani" club, Boris Yakubovskiy, recognized Stanislav Agkatsev, a player from the "Krasnodar" club, as the strongest goalkeeper among Russians. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the specialist, he carefully studied the player's statistical data. In Yakubovskiy's opinion, when comparing Agkatsev's expected goals (XG) with the actual number of goals conceded, his result is minus 19, which is considered a very high level indicator.
He emphasized that it was initially difficult to believe such a number. Additionally, the coach noted Yevgeniy Latyshonk from the "Zenit" team as a good player. In Yakubovskiy's view, the representative of the St. Petersburg team could be among the best in Europe, as he has an 84 percent save rate.
In the 2024/2025 season, Stanislav Agkatsev became the Russian champion for the first time with "Krasnodar." This is a significant achievement in his career and positions him as one of the best goalkeepers in the country.
Overall, Boris Yakubovskiy rated Agkatsev highly and expressed confidence that he would achieve even more success in the future.
