How was the Navruz holiday celebration held in the New Uzbekistan garden?

On March 21, a Navruz celebration took place in the “New Uzbekistan” park in Tashkent. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, delivered a speech and congratulated our people on the holiday.


The head of state also congratulated our compatriots living abroad with love and longing for their homeland, expressing his sincere wishes. In his speech, the President also touched upon youth policy, emphasizing that they are becoming the advanced and powerful force of New Uzbekistan. He honored intelligent, knowledgeable, skilled, energetic, and entrepreneurial young men and women who are achieving great results and enhancing the development and reputation of our country, congratulating the ambassadors and representatives of international organizations participating in the celebration on the international Navruz day and sending greetings of friendship to their peoples.


The holiday continued with a grand concert program. Notably, besides local artists, famous singers from brotherly countries such as Turkey, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan also participated.


The “New Uzbekistan” park was adorned with the splendor of the holiday. The squares were decorated with colorful flowers and flags. The exhibitions of national cultural centers showcased the harmony and rich cultural diversity of our country. The President watched these exhibitions and the songs of folklore-ethnographic groups.
