Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes is on the verge of returning to the club where he started his professional career. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the Argentine publication Ole, the player will officially transfer to Boca Juniors on June 30. The parties have agreed on the terms of the contract: the Argentine major club will pay 3.5 million euros for the 30-year-old midfielder, and Paredes will sign a 3.5-year contract, meaning he will stay with the team until the end of 2027. In the 2024/25 season, Paredes played in 33 matches for Roma across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
The Transfermarkt website estimates his market value at 5 million euros. Paredes is a product of Boca's youth system, having previously played for the club from 2010 to 2014 before moving to Europe.
His return is considered significant news for Boca, and the player aims to showcase his high-level performance once again at the club where he made a name for himself.
