Milano's "Inter" team head coach Cristian Kivu shared his thoughts on the results of the first three weeks of his work. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Romanian specialist took charge of the club team before the start of the club world championship and replaced former coach Simone Inzaghi after he moved to "Al-Hilal." On Monday, "Inter" was eliminated from the tournament after losing 0:2 to "Fluminense" in the round of 16 of the club world championship. In an interview with Sport Mediaset, Kivu expressed satisfaction with the three-week familiarization process with the team.
He emphasized the players' strength, will, and pride after a tiring season. The coach acknowledged the importance of always maintaining an optimistic mindset, otherwise, headaches may begin.
He stated that these three weeks would help in planning for the new season. Last season, "Inter" finished second in Serie A and also lost 0:5 to "PSG" in the Champions League final. Kivu expressed confidence that by analyzing the team's strengths and weaknesses, they would strive for better results in the new season.
The team members continue to work on themselves to perform even stronger in the new season.
