Christian Kivu, the head coach of Milan's "Inter" team, shared his thoughts on his experiences during the first three weeks in his new position. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Romanian coach began managing the team before the start of the Club World Cup. He replaced the previous coach Simone Inzaghi, who had left for "Al-Hilal."
On Monday, "Inter" concluded its participation in the World Cup, losing 0:2 to "Fluminense" in the Round of 16. In an interview with Sport Mediaset, Kivu stated that he is pleased with the initial three weeks of getting to know the team. He emphasized that during this time, he observed the team's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the players' pride and character after a tiring season.
The coach mentioned that he always looks at the situation positively, as otherwise, it leads to headaches. These three weeks will help in planning for the new season. Last season, "Inter" finished second in the Italian league and lost 0:5 to "PSG" in the Champions League final.
Christian Kivu announced that he aims to prepare the team for better results in the new season.
