The general director of Moscow "Spartak" football club, Oleg Malyishev, answered questions about transfers at the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that the arrival of Zabolozny does not mean parting ways with someone among the forwards, for instance, there is no talk of giving up Ugaldе, Malyishev told Sport-Express. Earlier, the "Spartak" club announced that it had signed an official contract with 34-year-old Anton Zabolozny.
The forward, who scored six goals in the Russian championship last season, will play under the number 91 in the "red-white" team. At the same time, it is known that 23-year-old Costa Rican Manfred Ugaldе was one of the top scorers in the Russian championship last season.
Thus, the arrival of Zabolozny is aimed at strengthening the club's attacking line, but it does not mean parting ways with existing players. The team management always strives to improve the squad and acts cautiously when adding new players.
Additionally, developing young players and retaining experienced players is considered one of the important tasks for the club. This will serve as a foundation for "Spartak's" future successes.
