The coefficient table has been updated on the official UEFA website. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the new version, taking into account the current season (where all countries are still showing 0 points), Russia has secured 26th place with 18.299 points. Interestingly, Russia is ahead of Ukraine.
The neighboring country has dropped to 28th place with a total of 17.600 points. Last season, Ukrainians accumulated only 3.600 points.
Russia, on the other hand, received 4.333 points, a figure calculated annually by UEFA for the country since it was expelled. Currently, Russian teams are not participating in European competitions due to sanctions.
At the top of the rankings is England, with a coefficient of 90.839 points. Following them are Italy (80.946), Spain (74.953), Germany (71.117), and France (65.177).
These figures reflect the current state of the strongest football countries in Europe. UEFA coefficients play an important role in assessing the international success of teams and the overall level of football in the country.
Additionally, these rankings determine the potential placement of the country's club teams in future competitions. Russia's low ranking and absence from European competitions due to sanctions is considered a significant issue for the country's football.
