Former “Lokomotiv” striker Dmitriy Bulykin expressed his thoughts on the losses of the “Rostov” team ahead of the new season in an interview with “Euro-Futbol.ru”. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He recalled that many negative comments were made about “Lokomotiv” in the last season, and it was thought that the team had no chances after losing all their key players, but they fought hard and did not drop out of the top three in the first part of the Russian championship. Bulykin also mentioned that there is no guarantee that the “Rostov” team will fight for survival, but if the team gathers good, especially young and passionate players, they could achieve good results in the next season.
In the spring of 2025, head coach Valeriy Karpin and team captain Daniil Glebov left “Rostov”. In the summer, defender Maksim Osipenko also left the team.
As a third loss, striker Nikolay Komlichenko moved to “Lokomotiv”. Currently, all these changes and challenges are bringing significant alterations to “Rostov”'s preparations for the new season.
The team management is trying to acquire young and talented players, which could positively impact the team's results in the future. Thus, “Rostov” aims to showcase its potential in the new season.
