The former head coach of Tula "Arsenal" team, Sergey Kiryakov, announced in an interview with the online publication "Evro-Futbol.Ru" that he is ready to continue his coaching career. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that he always has the desire to work, but stated that he would not accept any offers in the current situation. In particular, he mentioned that his former club "Karlsruhe" invited him to a showcase game and a festive event held in the city.
Kiryakov pointed out that his own desire is not enough in coaching; the employer and club owners must also express their interest. He also stated that he is ready to observe what is happening in the world of football from the outside.
The 55-year-old specialist has been unable to find work since April 2024. His last position was with the "Leningradets" team, where he had been working since the summer of 2021.
Kiryakov's words also hint at the uncertainties in the coaching field and the changing demands for coaches. He indicated that he is currently assessing his options and is open to future offers.
Such situations in the football field often depend on the experience of coaches and the needs of clubs. Therefore, he emphasized that he remains patient and is waiting for a suitable offer.
