
The management of Liverpool has decided to pay all funds to the family of Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away in a car accident, under his contract which runs until the summer of 2027. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

His brother Andre Silva also passed away alongside him. The Liverpool club has decided to retire the number 20 jersey worn by the Portuguese player in his memory.
Diogo Jota had been playing for Liverpool since 2020. He made 182 appearances for the club, scoring 65 goals and providing 26 assists.
