
Brazilian midfielder Mateus Alves has determined which number he will play under at Moscow CSKA. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It was previously announced that the 20-year-old footballer had come to Moscow to sign a contract. Notably, it is said that Alexander Golovin was the one who convinced Alves to move to CSKA.
Mateus Alves has chosen his number and plans to take the field wearing number 55. He stated in an interview with Sport-Express: “I chose number 55, they offered me numbers and I preferred this one.”
So far, Alves has played a total of 15 games for "San-Paulo" at the senior team level, making two assists. In the first round of the new season, CSKA will play against "Torpedo" as guests.
This match will take place from July 18 to 21. Thus, the Brazilian footballer is ready to continue his career at CSKA and will take the field under a new number in the new season.
