The goalkeeper of Milan's "Inter" club, Yann Sommer, is unlikely to move to "Galatasaray." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Journalist Rudi Galetti provided this information. According to the source, the Turkish club has reduced its interest in the 36-year-old Swiss player because it is difficult to meet his salary demands.
The "Galatasaray" team has assessed the player's financial demands as high, considering his age. Yann Sommer moved to "Inter" in 2023.
This season, he has played a total of 53 matches in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in 22 of them. Currently, Sommer's contract with "Inter" is valid until mid-2026.
According to sources, his market value is four million euros. For this reason, "Galatasaray" has decided against adding him to their squad.
Although Yann Sommer has high experience and goalkeeping skills, the club's financial capabilities also take precedence. Thus, the likelihood of his transfer not happening in the near future is quite high.
