In his opinion, "Spartak" does not believe it can become champion. He sees the "Zenit" team as the main contender.
Zavarzin also expressed confidence in the chances of the CSKA team and noted that "Dinamo" will also participate in the championship race. He stated that the chances of the "Lokomotiv" team are equal, meaning the probability of winning is 50 percent.
However, he pointed out "Zenit" as the main candidate. It is also worth noting that St. Petersburg's "Zenit" will start the new season at home against "Rostov".
The match will take place on July 20, Sunday, at the "Gazprom Arena" stadium. At the end of the last season, "Zenit" secured second place.
