The Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, Karomiddin Gadoyev, held a meeting with Elayne Txam, the Managing Director of Pro Events and Marketing Sdn Bhd.
During the meeting, the prospects for implementing investment projects in Uzbekistan with the participation of this Malaysian company were discussed.
The Malaysian side announced that it is considering the possibilities of implementing a project for the production of electric scooters (compact electric vehicles with 3 and 4 wheels) in Uzbekistan.
According to Elayne Txam, initial calculations indicate that the annual production volume is expected to be 5,000 scooters.
"Later, taking into account the export potential to Central Asian countries, there is a possibility to increase this to 10,000. Localizing scooter production could further enhance the quality of delivery services to the population in Uzbekistan," said the company's managing director.
Additionally, the foreign side expressed its readiness for cooperation in implementing software for medical diagnostics using artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector of Uzbekistan.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the company's management would organize a business mission to Uzbekistan to explore the prospects for implementing the identified projects.
