China is striving to transform traditional farming methods through the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture. In Hunan province, located in the central part of the country, the government has begun to create an artificial intelligence platform to support the development of smart agricultural machinery.
The regional authorities announced a policy draft titled "Regulations on Promoting the Development of Smart Agricultural Equipment Industry in Hunan Province" for public discussion. The document proposes a series of measures to encourage research and development of AI-based agricultural machinery, including the establishment of laboratories that will serve as innovation centers, providing access to research and development, testing, exhibition areas, and artificial intelligence resources.
One of the key elements of this initiative is the creation of a platform that provides companies with modern technological tools for the production of smart agricultural equipment. This platform will assist in data verification, working with artificial intelligence models, and making rapid decisions. Additionally, new tools for interaction between humans and machines are planned to be introduced.
