Kioxia introduced new high-speed drives

Japan's Kioxia continues to expand its share in the market of affordable data storage devices. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This manufacturer has introduced new BG8 series solid-state drives aimed at a wide audience and supporting modern data transfer technologies. These new devices have the ability to work on the fifth-generation data transfer bus, promising high performance for users.
The drives of the new series serve to ensure high speed for a wide range of systems, in particular compact and lightweight laptops and tablets. Kioxia BG8 devices are built on eighth-generation memory chips and are based on reliable data storage technologies. Although they do not fully utilize the capabilities of the new bus, they stand out for being noticeably faster than devices of the previous generation. Speaking of technical indicators, the sequential data reading speed exceeds ten thousand megabytes per second.
A similarly high indicator is also observed during the data writing process. The manufacturer abandoned a separate cache memory module in these models in order to reduce the cost of the product and make it more affordable for customers.
Instead, high speed is maintained through modern software solutions. The new drives are produced in various form factors, which allows them to be installed both in small-sized gadgets and in standard computers.
In terms of memory size, users are offered choices ranging from five hundred and twelve gigabytes to two terabytes. According to specialists, these models will go on sale in global markets by the end of the current quarter and will become one of the most attractive offerings in their price category.
