Foreign workers learn the language to get out of the China Town station

If Chinese astronauts were previously required to learn English to coordinate with international space stations, the situation has changed dramatically today. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Now, specialists from other countries must fully master the Chinese language before boarding China’s space station. This new requirement reflects China’s growing position in international space cooperation.
Recently, two Pakistani astronauts arrived at China’s Astronaut Research and Training Center to study and train. They participate in training sessions alongside their Chinese colleagues as part of space station missions.
According to the agreed plan, one of the Pakistani specialists will be responsible for scientific payloads and useful cargo during short-duration flights. Currently, a specially developed training program for foreign astronauts is being implemented on schedule.
This program includes not only professional technical training in aerospace but also in-depth study of the Chinese language. All theoretical and practical sessions are designed to ensure flawless execution of space mission stages and to develop the ability to make correct decisions in extraordinary situations that may arise.
As emphasized by official representatives, after joining the crew, all foreign astronauts first undergo intensive Chinese language courses. They must not only master everyday communication but also memorize all professional commands used during flight, complex terminology, and technical concepts.
This requirement ensures precise mutual coordination throughout all space station operations and guarantees a high level of safety. Thus, within China’s space program, the Chinese language is becoming the primary means of international communication.
