Google has created a new artificial intelligence feature to edit videos

Google has introduced a new Video Remix feature in its popular photo and video storage service, allowing users to process and edit videos in just a few seconds. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The tool enables users to create high-quality videos using simple text commands, without the need for complex editing software. This development marks a significant step in Google’s competition with other major tech companies in the field of artificial intelligence.
The new Video Remix feature is based on the recently unveiled Gemini Omni model, which is capable of processing any type of data and generating new content. It has now been fully integrated into the Google Photos system.
This allows users to edit their videos directly on their smartphones with just a few taps, without needing additional apps. The feature is located in the app’s creation section and enables users to apply various artistic effects to their videos.
For example, users can add special lighting effects to brighten dark images or completely transform a simple background into a completely different scene. Additionally, artificial intelligence can apply artistic styles such as watercolor, oil painting, or pencil sketch to videos.
According to company representatives, creating impressive video clips no longer requires professional skills or a significant time investment. A user can, for instance, make a photo taken at home look as if it were taken in a sauna, or add the glow of morning sunlight.
This greatly simplifies the process of turning ordinary clips into engaging content for social media. The Video Remix feature is currently available to a limited group of users, having been rolled out in several major countries for subscribers of a specific plan.
In the future, the feature is expected to be expanded to other regions and made available to all users. This represents an important step in transforming Google Photos from a simple storage service into a full-fledged creative platform.
Additionally, new tools for enhancing portrait photos have been introduced in the app. These allow users to correct facial imperfections and make other minor adjustments.
Furthermore, a feature has been announced that converts clothing photos into a digital wardrobe. This system enables users to virtually try on their clothes and create new looks.
