Both fresh squeezed and packaged: a juice that is useful in any form has been found

Experts spoke to "Roskachestvo" about juice, which is beneficial even in the "store-bought" version.
There is a saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Do these benefits continue if the fruit is turned into juice?
According to endocrinologist Elena Syurakshina, in a fresh apple, you can find a whole range of vitamins B and C, potassium, magnesium, chromium, and polyphenols, as well as fiber. These substances are beneficial for the heart and blood vessels: they lower bad cholesterol levels in the blood, reduce the risk of developing atherosclerosis, and normalize blood pressure. Apples also improve intestinal motility and maintain healthy microflora, eliminate inflammation, and strengthen the immune system.
It is noteworthy that apple juice also has similar properties. We are talking not only about freshly squeezed drinks but also about industrially produced juice, which can be purchased in any store.
According to expert Lyudmila Khomich, modern industrial technologies for processing apple juice are as gentle as possible. The drink retains all its beneficial properties. A glass of good quality store-bought juice partially meets the body's daily needs for potassium and chromium. Unclarified apple juices are rich in pectin, while clarified juices contain fiber, which is important for the gastrointestinal tract.
Apple juice is a natural product that rarely causes allergies. It is not in vain that it is included in complementary foods for small children. Even if you have diabetes, you can drink apple juice, but in this case, it is better to prefer the clarified version. In other cases, it is not recommended to drink more than 200-300 ml per day.
Who should avoid drinking apple juice?
First of all, this drink should be excluded in cases of individual intolerance and exacerbation of food allergies.
If you have diabetes, it is recommended to choose juice made from clarified apples that contain fiber and have a low glycemic index or to consume whole apples.
Apple juice contains natural apple sugars - glucose, fructose, sucrose, as well as apple acid, which can negatively affect teeth. Experts recommend drinking juice through a straw or rinsing your mouth with water immediately after drinking to avoid unnecessary contact with your teeth.
It should be noted that even for completely healthy individuals, drinking apple juice in excessive amounts (more than 500 ml at a time) can cause bloating and lead to side effects such as diarrhea and redness.
