On this day, the entrance test exams for higher education institutions for the 2025–2026 academic year will be completed. Now a new phase begins for applicants – choosing a higher education field and institution.
According to the State Testing Center, applicants have been given 15 days for this process. That is, it is necessary to determine by approximately August 7 which university and which field to continue studying in.
Admission to higher education is carried out in two stages: first, the test exams are conducted, and then the higher education institution and field are selected. The selection process is carried out on the my.uzbmb.uz website.
This website has a section called “Admission to Higher and Professional Educational Institutions,” where the “Choosing a Higher Education Institution” process is organized. Applicants will log into their personal profile to use the service.
There are two main tasks in the selection: the first is to determine the “Priority of Selection,” which indicates which higher education institutions and fields are prioritized, and the second is to choose “Targeted Admission.” If an applicant wishes to study in a special field based on a state order, they can take advantage of this opportunity.
Applicants can choose five higher education institutions and fields based on the subjects they have taken and the language of instruction. Selections can be made within one institution or from various universities.
After the selection is made, the information is confirmed through the “Save” button. Then, a special SMS code is sent to the applicant, and this code is used to formalize the selection.
As a result of the selection, an “Applicant Registration Sheet” is automatically generated. It fully displays the higher education institutions, fields, and forms of education chosen by the applicant.
It is recommended to download this document and keep it in a personal archive. The registration sheet confirms the official selection of the applicant.
The selection can be changed until August 7. Within this period, the applicant can update and re-confirm their selection at any time.
This opportunity is useful after thoroughly studying the admission conditions. The final results will be announced approximately by August 14 after the selection process is completed for the applicants.
The decision on which applicant is admitted to which higher education institution is confirmed by the decision of the State Commission. For the 2025–2026 academic year, 35,500 places have been allocated for bachelor's programs in state higher education institutions in full-time education, and 9,922 places for master's programs.
