The leaders of Uzbekistan's Propharm Partners and Lafz companies organized a practical visit to Egypt. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the visit, a number of meetings and negotiations were held. In particular, as a result of the communication with the leaders of Egypt's ACDIMA holding, an agreement was signed on the localization of pharmaceutical product manufacturing in Uzbekistan.
The parties agreed on the timelines and mechanisms for implementing the project. Additionally, during the negotiation process, distribution agreements for the supply of pharmaceutical products were signed with companies EIPICO, Medical Union Pharmaceuticals (MUP), and October Pharma, which are part of the ACDIMA holding.
These agreements aim to import high-quality, essential, and affordable medicines produced by Egyptian companies into Uzbekistan and subsequently localize them. ACDIMA holding is one of the largest holdings in the Middle East region, encompassing 17 companies specialized in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry.
This collaboration serves to strengthen the pharmaceutical ties between the two countries. The agreements reached during the visit are considered an important step in developing drug production in Uzbekistan and providing quality medicines to the population.
