A pilot project for a daily wage payment system is being introduced in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Under this new system, employees will be able to receive their salaries immediately after the workday ends, without waiting until the end of the month. This practice aims to fundamentally change the financial settlement process between workers and employers.
To participate in the experiment, employees must sign an electronic labor contract, open a personal wallet on a digital platform, and carry out all taxes and payments in accordance with the law. These requirements serve to ensure the transparency and legality of the project.
Salaries will be paid through the "same day" system, and employers must strictly comply with all labor legislation norms. The new system will help protect workers' rights as well as strengthen financial discipline.
As emphasized in the presidential decree, this arrangement is intended to improve workers' financial conditions and increase labor productivity. Especially for temporary or hourly workers, such a system provides significant convenience.
