School buses in Tashkent reduce traffic congestion
Soon, a special school bus system for transporting children to and from school is planned to be introduced in Tashkent city to reduce traffic congestion. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Officials emphasize that this initiative will significantly ease the city’s transport system. According to current observations, after the end of the school year, traffic in the capital decreases considerably.

The main reason for this is that parents do not take their children to school by private cars, which reduces the flow of traffic on the roads. Therefore, the introduction of school buses will help reduce traffic congestion throughout the year.

Each bus can carry from 20 to 30 students at the same time. This removes the equivalent number of private cars from the roads, helping to reduce congestion and the amount of emissions.

The special buses will be equipped with devices that fully comply with traffic safety requirements. Currently, this project is being discussed with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

If the project is implemented, significant changes will occur in the public transport system of the capital. Source: zamin.uz.
