Uzbek woman escaped violence from Saudi Arabia
An Uzbek woman named R.G., who lived in the city of Dammam in Saudi Arabia, faced regular violence from her husband for many years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
She sought help from the Uzbek embassy to resolve this issue and requested assistance in returning to her homeland.
According to Saudi laws, foreign citizens must obtain a special visa to leave the country. At the same time, women are required to obtain official consent from their husbands during this process.
Based on R.G.'s application, her husband was arrested and placed in temporary detention. During the interview, he was strictly required to grant her an exit visa, not to obstruct her, and not to persecute or harm her.
As a result, R.G. obtained an exit visa and succeeded in returning to Uzbekistan.
