Initiative Budget Selection Completed in Tashkent

In Tashkent, to ensure active participation of the population in economic processes, the selection stage of the "Initiative Budget" processes for the second season of 2025 on the "Open Budget" portal has been completed and the promotion stage has begun. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This process has been carried out since August 19. According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, a total of 22,623 proposals were submitted by citizens, of which 18,656 successfully passed the selection stage.

The promotion stage will continue from August 19 to August 21. During this period, initiators will introduce the projects that passed the selection to the general public and prepare for voting.

The process is organized in the following stages: project submission from July 15 to August 3, selection from August 4 to August 18, promotion from August 19 to August 21, and voting from August 22 to August 31. At the same time, starting from the second season of 2025 and the first season of 2026, a break will be given to 823 neighborhoods that won in the second season of 2024 and the first season of 2025.

Schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, and other organizations in these neighborhoods will not be able to participate with their projects in the next two seasons. The full list of neighborhoods given a break and detailed information about the process can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Economy and Finance as well as on the "Open Budget" portal.

Additionally, the list of winners and neighborhoods given a break will be announced in official sources before the start of each season. Initiative budget projects hold significant importance in the social and economic development of our country.
