In Uzbekistan, days off are being designated for the population in connection with the wide celebration of Independence Day on September 1. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the government decision, no additional days off have been assigned this year, and existing days off have not been moved to other dates. Accordingly, for employees working a five-day workweek, August 30 (Saturday), August 31 (Sunday), and September 1 (Monday, holiday) are designated as a continuous three-day holiday.
Employees working a six-day work schedule will have days off on August 31 and September 1. This arrangement allows the population to celebrate the holiday in a family environment together with their loved ones.
At the same time, since no additional days off have been assigned, there will be no disruptions in the work process. As a result, on the eve of Independence Day, the people of Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to honor national values, rest, and spend time in a festive mood.
