During an inspection conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency, violations were identified in the public procurement carried out by the “Uzbekistan Airports” joint-stock company. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This public procurement amounted to 6.8 billion soums and was organized contrary to current legal requirements. According to the information, several violations occurred during the tender process for the supply, installation, and commissioning of body cameras.
During the inspection, it was found that proposals were not fully and fairly evaluated, and that persons with mutual interests participated in the tender. It was also confirmed that various errors were made during the evaluation process.
Based on the Anti-Corruption Agency's submission, the decisions of the procurement commission were annulled and the illegal procurement was prevented. This case once again demonstrated the necessity of ensuring transparency and legality in public procurements (source: zamin.uz).
