On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan, new privileges are being introduced to develop domestic tourism and increase the population's use of tourism services. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These measures are aimed at wider promotion of our country's historical, cultural, and natural wealth. Currently, business entities in the tourism sector, including hotels, hostels, and guest houses, as well as museums and monuments under the supervision of the Cultural Heritage Agency and the "Waqf" charity foundation, are being offered discounts of up to 20% on entrance tickets.
These discounts play an important role in encouraging domestic tourism and serve to introduce the cultural and historical values of our country to a wider public. The privileges are mainly applied to cultural heritage sites, services in hotels and hostels, as well as various excursion and travel services.
In addition, local authorities, tourism specialists, and cultural organizations are jointly working on organizing various festivals, cultural events, tourism fairs, and holiday promotions. These measures create convenience for citizens and help to further increase their interest in domestic travel.
