A 9-year-old boy died during rhinoplasty in Tashkent

A 9-year-old boy died during a rhinoplasty surgery at a private clinic in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The incident occurred on August 25, and the boy had undergone a medical examination a week earlier and was sent for nasal reconstruction surgery. Unfortunately, after the operation, the boy lost consciousness and passed away.

According to Hayot Shamsuddinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office, an investigation has been initiated by the Mirzo Ulugbek district prosecutor's office regarding this tragedy. The investigation is planned to be conducted comprehensively, impartially, and thoroughly.

The prosecutor's office emphasized that a lawful decision will be made as a result. This incident may necessitate a reconsideration of the public's trust in medical services.
