In Uzbek legislation, making excessive noise at night is strictly prohibited in order to maintain public peace and order. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The relevant articles of the Administrative Liability Code establish responsibility for such cases. Singing loudly, playing music, unnecessary use of car horns, as well as operating televisions and radios at high volume between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM are considered violations of the law.
Additionally, the use of tape recorders and other sound-producing devices, as well as noise arising from construction or repair work, are regarded as violations of household noise regulations. According to the law, in such cases, citizens are fined one-third of the established base calculation amount.
If the offender is an official, the fine increases from one-third up to half of the base amount. If this violation is repeated within one year, the fine may be increased up to half of the base amount for citizens, and from half to the full amount for officials.
If citizens notice disturbances in their area, they can contact internal affairs bodies via the short number 102 or inform a preventive inspector. Lawyers and legal experts emphasize that disturbing order at night is not only against the law but also negatively affects the health and mental state of the population.
Noise disturbance can disrupt people's sleep patterns, reduce work capacity, and harm health. Therefore, maintaining public order is the responsibility of every citizen.
Ensuring peace at night is a sign of respect not only to neighbors but also to the entire neighborhood and residents. Source: zamin.uz
