The field of forensic examination in Uzbekistan is expected to enter a new phase. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At a meeting attended by the head of state, the issue of introducing modern 3D modeling technology for analyzing road traffic accidents was discussed. Currently, the Khadicha Sulaymonova Forensic Examination Center conducts 64 types of examinations, but only half of them are performed in the regions.
This slows down the process of obtaining expert conclusions in the regions, requiring additional time and expenses. Therefore, it is planned to strengthen the material and technical base of regional centers and increase the types of examinations from 15 to 25.
The new system aims to reduce human factors and ensure impartiality and transparency by extensively using digital technologies. The examination process will be monitored with the help of automated programs, and documents will be fully exchanged electronically between investigative and inquiry bodies and forensic institutions.
One of the most important innovations is the introduction of a 3D modeling service for the site of road traffic accidents. This technology allows for a more precise study of the incident details and effective conduct of photo and video equipment examinations.
As a result, the accuracy and reliability of expert conclusions in court cases will increase. Additionally, proposals to expand the activities of non-governmental forensic examinations, grant the right to conduct independent practice in the form of separate bureaus, and establish the Uzbekistan Chamber of Forensic Experts were supported.
Officials emphasized that such changes will bring the forensic examination system to the level of modern requirements and ensure justice and transparency in protecting the rights and interests of citizens. Source: Presidential Press Service.
